SPECIALISED LOAD CELLS

Do you need a custom load cell ?
All to often the product available from the catalogue is not the exact shape or
material that you require, or just happens to be too wide, the wrong measurement
range or has a cable instead of a connector.

We can either adapt one of our existing designs or produce an exclusive design
specifically for your requirement. We do not normally charge for the design
process as all that is required is a small modification to one of our existing designs.

We also can visit your facility and examine the application and suggest the best
solution, including the associated instrumentation e.g. amplifiers, displays and
data telemetry if required.

By avoiding expensive alterations to existing machinery in order to fit standard
load cells we can significantly reduce the cost of upgrading existing plant.

Calibrated ready for use...
Our designs can be supplied calibrated ready for use or calibrated on site if
required. This service is also particularly suitable for the design and evaluation
of prototypes and small production runs, keeping costs under control.

TRI-AX LOAD CELL

These load cells are used more in vehicle development. By placing these load cells at the top of suspension mounts or in line with drive shafts they can monitor the loads in X, Y and Z directions for not only down force but also braking and cornering. Specification: 32 x 350W strain gauges connected in 3 off full Wheatstone bridge configurations to measure tension or compression and bending in 2 directions. Calibrated to give a 5-point output. Protected for road use. Can be supplied with signal conditioning to comply with all leading data loggers.

STANDARD LOAD CELLS

Wide choice of load cell types, ranges & applications
From bending beams to double ended shear beams, we offer a large range of
load monitoring cells to suit most applications. Suitable for monitoring loads
from a few grams to over a hundred tonnes, we can supply load cells for use in
one off installations to complex weight monitoring systems, comprising multiple
load cells with signal processing and indicating equipment.

Manufactured alongside our high volume bonding operation, we use the same
techniques to produce a competitively priced load cell with built in quality and
performance. Each load cell is supplied with zero and span temperature
compensation as standard and can be supplied in almost any required load range.

Ideal for applications where short lead times and high performance are important.
