The data analysis currently carried out on vehicles of all types in increasing
all the time. Along with temperature, pressure, speed, position and acceleration
the measurements of loads and forces are becoming more useful to designers
and engineers alike. Although Motorsport and Production cars are used in
vastly different environments the approach to data collection and analysis for
both is very similar.Our experience has led to the development of many different methods for
ensuring that the installation can survive even the toughest environment.
Typical applications include suspension and steering loads, driveshaft torque,
wheel forces, pedal loads as well as chassis loads and stress analysis.
Many loads and forces can be monitored using existing components, avoiding
the expense of manufacturing special load.
