As businesses expect longer service from machinery, vehicles and other
equipment manufacturers are turning to fatigue analysis to provide
information on the expected working life of their products.

Overall Analysis Package
As part of the overall analysis package strain gauging makes an important
contribution to the final result. When combined with data from design
analysis i.e. Finite Element Analysis (FEA), strain gauge data can provide
the real life data rather than calculated and is then used to further enhance
the accuracy of the final figure. Also, strain gauges can be used to identify
potential problem areas and to assess subsequent modifications.
Although a full design and test program is not cheap many company's have
found that the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.

On-site Service
On site gauging can usually be completed within a few days (depending
on the requirement) and once the data logger is installed and commissioned
data can be collected as required. We can also arrange the analysis of the
data if required and on completion of the test program we can provide a
detailed report based on the data collected.
